Japanese-American Friendship Festival 2024: Day Two

A Japan Ground Self-Defense paratrooper assigned to the 1st Airborne brigade descends after jumping from a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron during the Japanese-American Friendship Festival 2024 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 19 ,2024. The JGSDF 1st Airborne brigade conducted HALO and static-line jump demonstration to show their capabilities during the festival. The festival is aimed at increasing bilateral relationships between U.S. and Japanese communities and allows people to see U.S. and Japanese military capabilities first-hand.
