Yokota tour enhances US, Japan relations

National Base Relations Council representatives are briefed on the landing gear of a C-130J Super Hercules by Senior Airman Anthony Allende, 374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, during a community tour of Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 20, 2023. Members of the council represent 14 municipalities across Japan and toured the installation to get a better understanding of the base’s mission. Team Yokota holds inclusive community events in a continual effort to foster mutual understanding between the U.S. and Japan, and to help strengthen the long-lasting partnership shared between both nations.
