The C-130J Super Hercules with new tail flash stripe

A C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron, sits in a hangar at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 6, 2022. The C-130J Super Hercules returned from its mid-cycle paint with new stripes painted on the tail. A bold black outline was added to the existing red stripe making it two inches wider. The change commemorates the Wing's heritage by making Yokota C-130s more noticeable while aligning with the tail flashes of other aircraft belonging to sister commands.
