U.S. Air Force retired Master Sgt. David Lacar supports an injured dwarf sperm whale April 17, 2017, at the Kadena Marina, Japan. Lacar guided the injured whale away from the shallow rocks at the marina and into deeper water while protecting the whale until help arrived.
