FUCHU AIR BASE, Japan -- Security guards from the Japan Air Self Defense Force are reflected in a vehicle's side mirror as they practice searching a suspicious vehicle and driver here Mar. 4 while Master Sgt. Eric Haeseker, 5th Air Force A7s manager, observes. This was JASDF's second field training with U.S. Airmen supervising. The security guards also covered team movement tactics, responding to near and far side ambush, and building entry procedures as they prepare to train other security guards once their new Base Defense Development and Training Squadron stands up in April.
