Yokota celebrates newest master sergeants

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --

Yokota’s newest master sergeant selects were recognized and celebrated during the master sergeant release party at Yokota Air Base, May 31.

Air Force officials selected 5,500 technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant out of 29,497 eligible, for a selection rate of 18.65 percent. The average overall Weighted Airman Promotion System score for those selected was 390.1. Selectees’ average time in grade was 4.32 years and time in service was 13.95 years.
