Yokota community prepares cookies to spread holiday cheer Published Dec. 11, 2023 By Airman 1st Class Natalie Doan 374th Airlift Wing Public Affairs YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Members of Team Yokota came together at the Friendship Chapel to package homemade cookies for the annual Yokota Cookie Crunch at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 11, 2023. Cookie donations came from community members across the base and were then delivered by 374th Airlift Wing leadership to unaccompanied U.S. Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force Airmen living in the dormitories. The Cookie Crunch originated in 2005 and has become an annual event at the installation.
