Yokota hosts Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Yokota’s Hispanic Heritage Month committee hosted a luncheon to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Oct. 5, Yokota Air Base, Japan.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to listen to a guest speaker, enjoy Hispanic cuisine, participate in a salsa competition, play games, and dance.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
