David Wolfe, Pacific Air Forces Command chief, visited Team Yokota’s Airman Leadership School class 23-E, to share his perspective on leadership, followership, and personnel management during a site visit at Yokota Air Base, Japan, June 5. Airman Leadership School is the initial level of Professional Military Education enlisted Airmen experience. It’s designed as an entry level leadership course to prepare Senior Airmen for positions of greater responsibility by strengthening leadership, followership, and personnel management while also gaining more understanding of the military profession. Wolfe oversees approximately 48,000 personnel within PACAF, and advises Gen. Ken Wilsbach, PACAF commander, on matters involving Airman readiness, training, professional development and effective utilization of manning and resources within the major command.
