Over the past week, the 14th Fighter Squadron executed the suppression of enemy air defenses mission in support of COPE Tiger 2019 at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.

One of the pilots leading the charge was Capt. Joe Swinson, who was recently recognized as the 5th Air Forces Wingman of the Year. Congrats to Capt. Swinson, and as they are wont to say in the 14 FS..."Yeah, WOOD!"

The 14 FS will continue flying operations in support of COPE Tiger until the exercise's conclusion on March 22.

COPE Tiger is an annual multilateral aerial exercise aimed at improving combat readiness and interoperability between the Republic of Singapore Air Force, Royal Thai Air Force, and U.S. Air Force, while concurrently enhancing the three nations’ military relations and combined capabilities.
