PAMACON prepares Airmen to save lives

Airmen from the 18th Medical Group gather around a water buffalo and learn how to take a water sampling during a field training day May 20, 2016, at Area One, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The first-of its kind training, known as the Preventative Aerospace Medicine Convention, or PAMACON, included site selection and coordination with civil engineering to determine where to place dining facilities, latrines and other necessary amenities in order to establish an operating environment.
