U.S-Japan conducts airborne operation Published Nov. 18, 2021 374 AW/PA YOKOTA AIR FORCE BASE -- Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers assigned to the 1st Airborne Brigade, line up outside a C-130J Super Hercules at Yokota Air Base, Japan, before a personnel drop, Nov. 15th, 2021. Yokota’s 374th Airlift Wing and JGSDF’s 1st Airborne Brigade organized this demonstration of interoperability, bi-lateral training, and the capability to execute a large force insertion on a drop zone of more than 200 personnel.
