テレンス　A.　グリーン最上級曹長

グリーン最上級曹長は、在日米軍司令部及び第5空軍司令部の最先任上級曹長である。級下士官として、最上級曹長は司令官に対し、在日米軍及び第5空軍所属の約3万3千人の下士官兵の即応体制、福利厚生及び人員配置等に関する課題に取り組み、報告をする責任を負う。司令官の方針を下士官兵に伝え、部隊運用、特に下士官兵に関する課題・懸念を司令官に提起する。さらに、同盟国である日本の自衛隊上級下士官との日米関係を維持し、相互理解を深め、双方の即応態勢の向上に努めるという重大な役割を果たす。
 
グリーン最上級曹長は、1988年10月車両運営スペシャリストとして空軍に入隊し、イラクやクウェートにおいて銃器運搬トラック・貨物運搬ラインの担当責任者を2度務めるなど、様々な任務を遂行した。また、空軍武官局、防衛武官システム室、そして統合基地にて複数の部隊最上級曹長任務を勤め上げている。現職の前には、韓国烏山空軍基地所属の第51戦闘航空団の最先任上級曹長を務めた。
